It's too late! I already tweet. I like it much better than Facebook, although I use both.
One of the ways we use Twitter at work is to follow conference proceedings when we can't attend. For example, last year's Blogworld Expo had the hashtag #bwe08. If you followed that on Twitter, you could see much of what was being discussed without having to be there.
There's also a lot of funny stuff on Twitter. #harrypottersequels was a riot.
