Dog fur
More than carpet, clothing really shows dog fur. Our first dog has black hair which doesn't show up on black clothing. But Andy's fur is very light, so the strategy of dark clothing no longer works. We're resigned to carrying around a roll of masking tape to clean our cloths before going out.

Trained by the dog
It is claimed that dogs understand human body language better than most people. They are certainly masters of letting us know what they want.
