First Snow

well almost. The actual first snow was about three weeks ago, but we got so little coverage it really doesn't seem fair to count it. This weekend we got two inches in the back yard. Enough for the dogs to play in and seem satisfied.

Can we just have permanent Spring or Fall? I've got a cold right now and it's getting down to about 20 below here in San Diego. Well, at least that's what it felt like when I went downstairs to feed our Maximum Leader at 3AM. I came back up shaking uncontrollably from the intense cold. My wife said it wasn't that cold, but I'm not sure. I could have sworn I saw gusts of wind blowing snow across the backyard tundra.

I am happy to tell you that we had an inch or two all last winter and this Autumn is something like that year. I can do without snow and especially ice.

Abe, I see you switched around your blogs again.

We also had a very dry winter, spring, and summer. It was pretty hard on the farmers. The winter wheat needs a reasonable amount of snow.
