Uh oh. Here's the only review on Amazon:

While the Haynes Repair Manual for the Starship Enterprise sounds wonderful on paper in real life the book is quite thin, overpriced, with medicore pictures. While I love the idea of how to maintence on the Enterprise, this book isn't it. I'm not impressed- this is a "Hack book, made to make money off the fans" rather than an actual book of what would be expected in real life.

Dissapointed. Would not recommend purchase.

Ya, I saw that. Its hard to know what the reviewers expectations were. But that comment is a major concern. There also a Haynes Manual for the Apollo 11 lander. Similar sort of complaints, although some folks loved it. At the very least, I believe Amazon will let you return it.

It's probably one of those books you want to have on your shelf to bring down and share with fellow Trekkie friends for a laugh over a beer. It's not like you're really buying it so you know what kind of grease to use on the rails of the turbolift.
