Filled the beast's tank today. Cost over $25. The price today here was $2.19/gal. Thats an almost 20 cent jump in the last five days. Other than it being May and the beginning of summer driving season, I can't think of a single reason for a jump that big (over 10%). The previous tank was about two weeks ago, and was just under $25.
What did you pay for gas this week?
Update - I refilled again today (May 21). Its up to $2.25/gal for the holiday weekend.

$30 yesterday in San Diego.
I spend about 7 dollars on gas a week, it might be 7.50 next week.
I hate driving, I try to walk as much as I can, can you tell.
Ah must be nice. When I went back I had actually had spent $27.
I didn't have a car until I went to graduate school, and there it stood in the parking lot most of the time because the bike was faster and easier. In New Mexico, the parking was such a pain, that riding or even walking was just easier. What sucks is that it takes just over an hour to take the bus to work (one change), but only 20 minutes to drive. It comes down to an issue of time. At least that's what I say now. when gas climbs back up to $4 a gallon to stay I'll re-evaluate that equation.
$2.19 a gallon!? Where do I get me some of the cheap stuff?

unfortunately you'll have to leave the comforts of the Bay area to see the price of gas for any lower.
