Conservapedia revisited

This modern world has a nice post about dinosaurs in Conservapedia. you can't make this kind of stuff up! Wonkette has two more pointed posts about Conservapedia's bizarre take on reality; George Washington and Bias.

You might also want to check out my piece on Conservapedia, which has a number of examples of the wonderful scholarship to be found there.

Having done quite a bit of reading on Washington, I found the piece at Conservapedia to be accurate, but the facts hand-picked.

So what?

Most wikis are doomed to fail because of the enormous amount of time required to fill them and the scarcity of people with the energy and interest to do so. I would be that this one won't go far, either.

I guess I don't understand the fuss from Wonkette about the project. It's not like everyone is being forced to take down their Merry Xmas signs.

Thanks for the comments. I was being lazy last week. I wanted to blog about my thoughts on the new site, but posted links to other blogs instead. I think I'll go ahead and post what I originally planned to.
